THE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY CENTRE (CPC) – Monash University
The Monash University Clinical Psychology Centre (CPC) is a state-wide clinical service where trainee Probationary Psychologists, and supervising Clinical Psychologists provide assessment and treatment of psychological problems for individuals and families within three Psychology specialisations:
- Forensic Psychology,
- Adult and Health Psychology, and
- Child, Adolescent and Family psychology.
A sliding scale of $20 - $60 is used to ensure the service is accessible to a range of families.

Karinya
Karinya is a not for profit Community Service Agency offering high quality low cost professional counselling for individuals, couples, or families.
Counselling addresses areas such as depression, domestic violence, abuse, anger management, eating disorders, gambling, drug and alcohol issues; grief and loss.
Specialist areas include physical and intellectual disability, couple mediation; autistic spectrum disorder, play therapy and a Chinese speaking counsellor.
Group work: support groups, anger management, CFS, depression, building healthy relationships, grief and loss.
Karinya has been established for over 18 years with 21 professional Counsellors and Psychologists across our five centres - situated at Glen Waverley; Blackburn Nth, Heathmont and Traralgon and Melton. Appointments can be made day and evening, and Saturday mornings at Glen Waverley. Referrals are not necessary and most clients can be seen within the week.

Monashlink
MonashLink Community Health Service offers confidential, short-medium term counselling for individuals, couples and families within the City of Monash. The counsellor’s are all trained and skilled in a variety of specialist areas. The following services are available: Alcohol and Drug Support Services, Children’s Services, Youth Counselling, Family Services, Family/Domestic Violence Counselling and Support, Financial Counselling, General Counselling. In addition, we provide group programs for issues such as depression/anxiety, drug and alcohol issues and family violence. Please see the website for more information.

Monash Youth and Family Services
Monash Youth and Family Services provides a range of services for young people and families in Monash.
MYFS offers a number of support and developmental programs.
Support programs include: Young Mums' Group and a number of Family Support Programs.
Developmental programs include:

- RollPLAY Productions
- Activate and School Holiday Programs for Children aged 5-12.
Youth Project Workers at MYFS offer generalist support to young people aged 10 - 25 years in the City of Monash. We provide information, referral, support, counselling, support groups, employment assistance, recreation, and advocacy.
Crisis and short term counselling is available for young people aged 10-25 years and their families. There is no cost for the counselling service. MYFS also provides assessment and referral for individuals and families.
